Threading Treatment

Threading is an ancient method of hair removal originating in the Eastern world. In threading, a thin cotton thread specially designed for threading is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair (credit to Wikipedia.com).

 

So, tu la maksud threading! I cant remember how I first came to know this technique. Oh yes, I was googling for facial hair removal and suddenly directed to one forum discussing on threading. Most of them said that it is quite painful to do it. And, most of the threaders are Indian. The price? cheap! definitely not more than RM20..haha! Okay, it did occur to me back then that I would love to try it.

 

Happened to be, during my out station duty to Kelantan..yeaahh..you heard me right! it's in Kelantan.I was staying at Renaissance, Kota Bharu which is next to shopping mall called Kota Sri Mutiara. I was actually looking for eyebrow trimming when I saw one beauty salon offered threading. I paid RM35 for both treading & eyebrow trimming. It was done my one beautiful Chinese lady aged 43 (Don't bother to ask how I know her age..She looks young and beautiful and I cant stop myself from asking her)

 

It was an acceptable pain for me. Just a tickling sensation on your face and its all done! I have a trimmed eyebrow and a hairless face (not that I have hairs on my face lol!) huhu
